The following is a partial list hi-lighting some of the benefits and plan improvements for qualified members. For the complete plan refer to the "Plan Booklet" for your respective trade or call and ask to speak to one of the union representatives.

Health and Welfare** (Sheet Metal & Sheeter-Decker) improvements effective Jan. 1, 2008.

No yearly deductible.
100% Basic Dental care to a yearly maximum based on 2008 dental fee guide (up from the 2006 fee guide) (Dentures/Crowns-80% coverage)
100% Drug Plan
Eye Exams: Ontario residents between the ages of 18 and 64 years of age are covered by the Plan for eye exams up to $80.00 every 24 months. (This was brought about because of the cancellation of eye exam coverage by the Ontario Gov't.)
Vision Care up to $350.00 every 18 months
Paramedical Practitioners: The per visit amount has been increased to $30.00 per visit up to 20 visits or $600.00 per year and includes the following: chiropractors, osteopaths, naturopaths, and podiatrists, as well acupuncturists and massage therapists have been added. (Ontario Gov't. no longer covers chiropractic visits, refer to the Plan Administrator for payment as outlined above)
Major Medical coverage
Short Term & Long Term Disability, see Plan documents for details and amounts and qualifying rules
Life insurance, $50,000.00 
Accidental Death, $50,000.00 
Life Insurance on Spouse $5,000.00 & Children $2,500.00
 The benefits listed above pertain to Active members, retired members should call the  Plan Administrator for coverage limitations and pay direct pricing

Weekly Indemnity $435.00/Week, but not more than 70% of current weekly salary, call Plan Administrator for qualifying rules

Life Insurance on Spouse $5,000.00 & Children $2,500.00
Bereavement Fund, partial payment for time off time off for death of specified family members, see collective agreement)

Plans vary by agreement, consult various agreements for details

** Active Members must work a specified number of hours to qualify or re-qualify for coverage
