Industrial/Commercial/Institutional Provincial Collective Agreement
Rate
Increases
 | Effective
May 1, 2010 The Journeyperson total package
increased by $0.80 per hour. The Apprentice rates
increased by the appropriate percentage. |
 | Effective
May 1, 2011 The Journeyperson total package increases by $1.20 per hour. The Apprentice rates
increase by the appropriate percentage. |
 | Effective
May 1, 2012 The Journeyperson total package
increases by $1.50 per hour. The Apprentice rates increase by the appropriate percentage. |
Free Zone
 | The
Free Zone for Ottawa shall be the City limits as defined and proclaimed on
January 1, 2001. Any work done outside the Free Zone, both mileage and room
& board shall be calculated from a 15 mile (24 kilometer) radius from
the intersection of Carling and Preston. The Free Zone for Cornwall and
Pembroke remains as per the language in the current collective agreement. |
Travel Allowance:
 | Effective May 1,2010 the travel allowance increased by
$0.01
per kilometer to $0.49 per kilometer |
 | Effective May 1,2011 the travel allowance increases by
$0.01
per kilometer to $0.50 per kilometer |
 | Effective May 1,2012 the travel allowance increases by
$0.01
per kilometer to $0.51 per kilometer |
Downtown
Parking
Downtown parking allowance for each employee, as
follows:
 | Members
working in the area bounded by the Rideau River to the East, The
Queensway to the South, and Bronson Avenue to the West, shall be
paid $12.00 per working day for parking. |
